This workshop will introduce students the technique to learn arm balances as well as deepen their existing knowledge. In our workshop we will start with a warm up flow, warm up the wrists then play with basic to more advanced asanas. In our exercises we will work the fundamentals emphasizing the importance of the core and pelvis. If you have ever wondered the options the teacher calls out to you this will be the place to learn them. There will also be opportunities to advance the existing balances with variations as well as linking them together. Postures we will workshop: Crow, Side Crow, Eka Pada Koundinyasana (Hurdlers, Running Man), Headstand, Forearm Stand, Chin stand and more..... Bring your adventurous spirit, curiosity and questions to this workshop. Arm balances have a way of creating bravery, liberation and playfulness for the practitioner.
