Thinking about trying yoga? Maybe you tried a class in the past and it wasn't quite the right fit? Interested in learning more about ways to enhance your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing in 2019?

This six week series (and the partner workshop, also available) with Jennifer Lawson will guide you through some of the fundamentals of yoga.

Jen will provide you with information, tools and movement experiences, so that you can select a class type to fit your needs and goals, and will feel comfortable and confident in a class. We'll cover areas such as the following:

the practical stuff like what to wear, what to bring, when to eat/not eat
some of the different types of yoga/classes with emphasis on physicality required, purpose, benefits
explore common yoga poses and transitional movements with concrete and practical instruction
experiment wtih various yoga props to support your practice
basic breathing for yoga and daily life
You can kick start your yoga journey with the New to Yoga partner workshop as well. The workshop is Sunday, January 13, 4:00-5:30pm.
