FREE: November Project Sunrise 6k

  • Ron Kirkland Bridge 120 Continental Avenue Dallas, TX, 75207 United States (map)

Hello Dallas, on Friday February 16 we will host our semi-annual Sunrise 6k!! This is a free, unofficially, official grassroots race. This race is a 6k run starting on The Continental Ave Pedestrian Bridge and heads towards Trinity Groves and then down the Trinity Greenway for an out and back to the finish line where it all started. The race is a flat non-stop race with no street crossings or hazardous areas.

This race is free and 100% Grassroots which means what you can't expect any of the following: water, cops, bathrooms. Let us know if you have any questions!

Bring a stopwatch so you can see how much you can take your time and see how much you have progressed from 6 months ago to 6 months from now!

Why are we racing 6K and not 5K? Because real athletes race 6k! The real reason is November Project's roots come from two rowers from Northeastern University in Boston and one of the standard testing distances in rowing is 6K

How do you prepare for this race? Come workout with us MWF! Mondays we do stairs at 6:00am at 700 South Lamar Street, Wednesdays we do HIIT at the Winspear Opera House at 6:15 am, and Fridays we run hills at 1199 Kessler Parkway at 6:15 am. Check out the blog here:
